All of the activities of Verde Folhas have been developed aiming at leisure associated or not to the practice of adventure sports and radical ones too, with strong focus on the environmental preservation and education.
Verde Folhas is located in a privileged region at the foot of Serra do Rola Moça, neat to is state park in the village of Casa Branca, Brumadinho, Minas Gerais. Very close to Belo Horizonte, at approximately 32 km from Savassi.
It has an area of 30.000 square meters of dense mata Atlantica of which only 5.000 are occupied for its infrastructure…. Preserving thus innumerable species of local flora with ecological interect such as Braunas, Jacarandás, Jatobás, Vinhático, Copaíbas, besides several families of bromélias moss, fern to mention a few.
And, with the preservation of native mata it is also possible to protect several species of the mata atlantica fauna.
It is bathed by Piabas broak (micro basin of ribeirão Casa Branca) where it forms beautiful alls with clean, crystal-clear water. There are 8 watr springs permanently monitored and preserved. Ideal spot for an ecological walk. Verde Folhas develops Ecoturism with environmental responsibility.

LOCATION
Verde Folhas adventure resort is located close to Belo Horizonte (32km),about forty minutes from BH Shopping mall, in the village of Casa Brana and is reached by means of a paved two-lane country road inside Serra do Rola Moça state park… from which a terrific panoramic view of great part of Belo Horizonte and its surrounding area can be seen.

PERMACULTURE AND BIOCONSTRUCTION
We hase been developing together with NGO 4 corners of the word, since 2007, a permacultural project focused on “sustainability” and social responsibility.
Permaculture creates ecologically correct and economically viable systems that supply their own needs. …and don´t exploit or pollute, besides being sustainable in the long run.
BIOCONSTRUCTION
In Verde Folhas we develop construction techniques of low empact, making use of local raw material, recycled, renew able, besides pieces of used construction material… always with the personal touch of Andréa, with detailing that uses seeds collected locally and paint obtained with pigments of soil, taken from some secret spots of the serra.
SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
All developed activities are monitored by residents of Casa Branca, who get specific, regular training.
We have an agreement with Carmela Caruso Aluotto municipal scholl and others in the surrounding area, welcoming both their students and teachers to several extra-curricular activities.
We keep open house to residents, teaching them techniques used in permaculture and bioconstruction, stimulating them to develop on their own, attitudes for their self-improvement.
